The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra (MYO) is a youth and family development program of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The program is designed to use the life skills learned in music instruction to engage youth in activities that discourage at-risk behaviors and keep them committed to staying in school.

Senior Spotlight

Congratulations to our 5 MYO Seniors on completing a successful year with MYO and all graduating from high school!

    Senior Spotlight: Emma Bryant 

    Emma graduated from Center Grove High School where she participated in school and pit orchestra. She enjoys horse-back riding, fiddling and art. Emma will attend the University of Indianapolis in the fall. She will major in Psychology and Music Performance and she intends to become a Psychologist. 

    Congratulations Emma!    
     
    A note from Emma to Mrs. Perry:
    "My time spent in MYO has taught me many things both musical and practical in everyday life. And I am immensely grateful for it all."
